WFMT LEVEL 1
A unique training that blends the spiritual with the physical, Womb & Fertility Massage is an intuitively fluid abdominal and sacral massage for womb health, fertility, menopause and postnatal care.
Over four days (five in the Netherlands) you’ll both practice and receive this deeply restorative therapy. The massage works through the areas where women often store tension and emotional experience, offering a gentle yet profound release. Whether you’re seeking to expand your offerings or embark on your own healing path, this course offers tools to hold transformational space for yourself and the women you work with.
The entire course is an invitation to drop into the wisdom of your own wombspace, to recognise and begin healing wounds held in the body and energy field while supported by experienced tutors. We begin with a womb blessing and meditation, sitting in circle and sharing with sisters. We explore the inner seasons of the menstrual cycle, tapping into the deep rhythm of feminine archetypes that guide our lives. The training is so rich and supportive that some attend as a personal healing retreat.
As part of the massage, we incorporate the Rebozo, a sacred practice our founder Clare Spink learned from Mexican midwives in 2006. We source our Rebozos directly from Mexico, supporting the women who weave them and honouring the lineage they come from. After completing the immersion, you’ll gain access to our private community forum, where Womb & Fertility Massage Therapists share stories, advice and support. The theory component is delivered by distance learning and includes video downloads, PowerPoint handouts and the WFMT Theory eBook.
PREREQUISITES
We are delighted to offer the training to ANY WOMAN who feels the call to do this work, regardless of prior experience or qualifications.
With a qualification giving Professional Insurance for full body massage, whether Remedial, Therapeutic, Relaxation, Lomi Lomi or Tui Na, you are eligible for the WFMT Certificate.
With no massage but a qualification such as Naturopathy, Herbalism, Nursing, Midwifery or Doula that includes Anatomy & Physiology NVQ3 or above, only the Fundamentals of Massage course needs to be added.
With none of the above our WFMT Diploma adds both the Fundamentals of Massage course and three extra online modules.

CERTIFICATION
When you have passed an open book multiple choice theory exam, displayed the required skill level during the practical assessment on the final day, and completed 12 case studies, you will be issued with a Womb & Fertility Massage Certificate accredited/approved by ThinkTree Hub, FHT, IICT and MMA.
